Monday January 29th, 2024
In ISM next week we have a lot of events and important dates coming up. As a result, this week is just a very busy time full of preparation and research.
I have my original work reflection speech on Wednesday and I am excited to share my original work project with everyone. It was something I really enjoyed and worked really hard on so I am excited to get some more feedback about it. In order to prepare I need to look back at all my previous research and main ideas and summarize it all.
This Friday my poster for our gallery walk on February 7th is due. I am hoping that my work and research in preparation for my original work reflection speech will help me in making my poster for the gallery walk. Both of these events are very helpful in giving me the opportunity to review my previous research. It has been a while since I looked at some of my research from earlier on in the first semester. So, I think this is a great opportunity to just remind myself and renew my knowledge about some of my topics.
On top of that, I am hoping to schedule my first mentor visit for next week or the week of February 12th. I know that my mentor is mainly available early Monday mornings or Friday afternoons. As a result, the best possible situation for me would be to have my meetings on Monday mornings on B weeks. However, I know everyone is really busy and I definitely want to be flexible. However, I want to do my first meeting as soon as possible so I can decide on my final project and begin working on it. I don’t know which idea is doable so I want to get some professional feedback on what I could create. I also want to take what I have learned from my original work and start working on my final project more in advance, so I can present my best work.
